7 Dogs Attack Driver In Lagos

A 45-years old calabar man was attacked by 7 dogs in Lagos.

According to Vanguard news,

He was on a visit to his in-law on the fateful day, as he stepped out of the building, he saw a man coming out with several dogs he specified to be 'Alsatian' dogs.

Being startled by the dogs, he tried to go back into the building.

The dog's allegedly overpowered the handler, and was coming for him. This was when he bent down to pick a stone to scare the dogs.

The dog's attacked him and he narrowly escaped death as they bit mostly all parts of his body.

Lesson Learnt From This Incident

Firstly, TRAIN YOUR DOGS!!! This is very important as this would have averted an incident like this. Your dog's should be obedient to you at all times and Stop whatever it does when you sat STOP!

Another thing is owning too many dogs when you don't have the time for them. It's not just about feeding dogs, it's about socializing and caring for them all. A dog needs an amount of exercise a day, most dogs are just locked up in a cage all-day and when they have an opportunity to use the energy, they take it!

Stop using your dogs to scare people. Really, I wonder why the handler brought out 7 dogs at a time. The handler is said to be the security and he won't have wanted to walk the dogs when he has a house to secure. So probably he came out to do a show-off of the dogs.

Never try to scare a dog. If you're unsuccessful it's dangerous. I wonder how he plans to use a stone to scare 7 dogs in the first place. The best way to deal with dogs coming with aggression is to stand still. Believe me this works. You either gather the courage to stand still or be stupid to think you can outrun 7 dogs.

In conclusion, read about dogs. If you're buying a new puppy, ask the breeder about the temperament of the dog and some other things that you think might be harmful.Make sure your dogs have all its complete shots including anti-rabies. Give your dogs obedience training.

And Breeders, enlighten new puppy owners about their new dog. This is very important.

I wish the victim Quick recovery.
