Head Pressing In Dogs

Head pressing is a condition where your dog pushes its head against the wall for no particular reason. This indicates a damage in the nervous system. This condition is caused by  a number of reasons including damage to the forebrain and thalamus parts of the brain, poisoning,protozoan migration to the brain, etc.

The mechanical vectors are Ticks and Tse Tse fly.

symptoms­
Head pressing can be caused by neurological or metaolic imbalance. symptoms include:-
Circling
Constant pacing
Seizures
Staring at walls
Getting stuck in corners
Pressing head to the ground.

Causes
Tumor
Water on the brain
Strokes or vascular accidents in the brain
Head trauma.
Inflammatory and infectious types of meningitis and encephalitis
Babasie spp or Trypanosoma brucei
